Adriana Camandona-Sáez

“I am passionate about reading and sharing God’s Word with people and helping them understand the need we have to pray for one another and to believe that God works through the prayers of His children. ”

  • Location: Curicó, Chile

  • Summary of Ministry: Prayer Mobilizer for the Charis Alliance

  • Bio: Adriana was born in Argentina. She is the daughter of Ángel and Ester Camandona and the eldest of five siblings. Her father served as a pastor in several churches of the Grace Brethren Church in that country, and it was there that Adriana came to know the Lord as her personal Savior. From a very young age, she felt God’s call to serve Him, and for years she worked with children, teenagers, and young adults at the church in Almafuerte, Córdoba province. She finally decided to pursue training to fulfill her call to missions and attended the Word of Life Bible Institute in Buenos Aires for three years (1996–1998) and spent one year at Grace Seminary in Winona Lake, United States (1999).
In 2001, she arrived in Chile, sent by the Missions Commission of Argentina, to join a church-planting team in the city of Curicó. There she met her future husband, Juan Sáez, with whom she has served since 2003 as a missionary at the Grace Brethren Church in that city, with Juan serving as the congregation’s pastor. They have one daughter.

Both are actively involved in promoting, within their church and in other congregations, the importance of the values upheld by the Charis Alliance around the world, and the beauty of interdependence among churches.

  • Why I Believe in the Charis Alliance: “Because through the Charis Alliance we can see the church of Christ more broadly. Because we can help one another and also value brothers and sisters from different cultures. I believe in the Charis Alliance because its goal is biblical, and because it works—we’ve experienced it ourselves.”
