⛪️ Four Obstacles that can slow our efforts to plant new churches
Although French culture takes pride in being secular, many French people have a strong interest in spiritual matters and often express that interest through occult practices.
Evangelical believers are a small minority, and many towns have few or no evangelical churches.
Some people mistakenly view evangelicals as a cult. Churches may also face strict rules when seeking to rent meeting spaces or build church buildings.
Most churches are small, making it difficult to provide enough financial support for church planters and pastors.
🙏🏼 Three Prayer Requests for those laboring to plant new churches
Ask God to strengthen unity within and among local churches so they can work together to share the gospel and plant new churches.
Ask God to work through government officials to remove legal and practical barriers that make planting churches difficult.
Ask God to work powerfully in the lives of the dozens of students in leadership training programs. Pray that He will confirm their calling to lead churches and start new ones.

After several decades of slow but steady growth, Charis France has entered a new season of active growth and expansion.
Church members now have several options for leadership training, including a nearby Bible institute, programs in their local churches, and online courses.
