Germany & Poland

⛪️ Common Obstacles that can slow our efforts to begin new churches

  1. A primary challenge facing those seeking to begin churches in Poland is building trust in a country with strong Catholic traditions. Evangelical churches are a small minority, and some people view new congregations with suspicion. Church planters need patience to build relationships, explain their beliefs respectfully, and show Christ’s love through service.

  2. A primary challenge facing those seeking to begin churches in Germany is reaching people who see little need for faith or church. Despite Germany’s Christian history, many people have no religious connection or little interest in the gospel. Church planters need patience to build relationships, answer honest questions, and show why following Christ matters in everyday life.

🙏🏼 Three Prayer Requests for those laboring to plant new churches

  1. Ask God to help our churches in Poland and Germany build trust, explain the gospel clearly, and show Christ’s love through humble service.

  2. Ask God to open hearts among people who distrust evangelical churches or see little need for faith, helping them understand what it means to follow Jesus.

  3. Ask God to multiply our small presence in Germany and Poland by mobilizing both national workers and expat missionaries to serve in church planting ministries.

🌍 Two Interesting Facts about our movement in these countries

  1. We first entered Germany in 1969. Currently there are two established churches.

  2. We first entered Poland in 2015. Currently there is one established church.

♥️ One Precious Promise as we seek to plant new churches

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.”

John 14:12–14
