🌏 Global Family
⛪️ We are a Global Family of Churches!
We’ve completed the second week of our three-week prayer journey! If you missed a day, use the numbered links at the bottom of this page to catch up.
Beginning tomorrow, we will shift our focus from the church planting activities of our Member Associations to the unique challenges facing our Associate Members and Mission Points. Here’s how these three groups make up the global Charis Alliance:
Member Associations are groups of churches that affirm our shared beliefs (Commitment to Common Identity) and goals (Commitment to Common Mission). Our thirteen Member Associations support one another through prayer, sharing spiritual and material resources, and more.
Associate Members represent areas with just one or two churches that also want to form part of our movement. Where possible, they receive resources and support from the Alliance while focusing primarily on needs within their own country.
Mission Points are places where there are no established Charis Alliance churches, but where our mission agencies are working to make disciples and start churches.
Over the next six days, we’ll highlight the Associate Members and Mission Points of our movement. Space prevents us from sharing as much detail about each one, but each matters deeply to us, and we want them to matter to you, too!
🙏🏼 Today’s Prayer
Reflect on Paul’s closing words to the believers in Rome:
“Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith—to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.”
—Romans 16:25–27
As we consider the men and women leading small churches and church planting efforts across fifteen countries (our Associate Members and Mission Points), let's ask God to strengthen their faith, encourage them in their isolation, and help them lead many others to trust and obey Jesus!
