⛪️ Four Obstacles that can slow our efforts to plant new churches
Christians may face social pressure or limits on public religious activity, especially in areas where Islam strongly shapes community life.
Families may struggle to access adequate food, health care, and schools. New churches are called upon to meet many needs but have few resources.
Chad is a large country with many people groups that have had little opportunity to hear the gospel. Poor roads, long distances, and harsh weather make planting new churches difficult.
New churches need pastors, teachers, Bibles, and materials to help believers grow in their faith. Finding trained leaders and materials in local languages can be especially difficult.
🙏🏼 Three Prayer Requests for those laboring to plant new churches
Ask God to raise up more workers to study in the Schools of Evangelism and Missiology. Pray that He will strengthen the teachers and provide the funding these schools need.
Ask God to raise up faithful pastors and teachers to lead the many new churches being planted.
Key leaders hope to take the gospel into Sudan, Egypt, and Libya. Ask God to guide these efforts and help them bear fruit.
🌍 Two Interesting Facts about our movement in this country
The Charis Alliance in Chad trains dozens of new evangelists and church planters at three levels: basic, intermediate, and advanced.
More than 150 church planters are currently serving, many among people groups that have had little opportunity to hear the gospel.
