⛪️ Four Obstacles that can slow our efforts to plant new churches
Argentina has strong Catholic traditions. Conservative evangelical teachings often feel unfamiliar and conflict with their traditional beliefs.
The 'prosperity gospel' and 'signs and wonders' movements have influenced many evangelical churches, distorting their message and weakening public trust.
Ongoing economic struggles and high inflation make it difficult for churches to support their pastors and local ministries while also planting new churches.
Economic uncertainty also discourages young people from serving full-time as church planters and pastors.
🙏🏼 Three Prayer Requests for those laboring to plant new churches
Ask God to help existing and new churches faithfully show Christ’s love through humble service, honest relationships, and respect for everyone in their communities.
Ask God to bless local and online training programs that prepare lay workers, pastors, and missionaries.
Ask God to work powerfully in the hearts of church members, leading them to give sacrificially to support those called to serve as pastors and church planters.
🌍 Two Interesting Facts about our movement in this country
Our movement currently has two church-based Bible institutes, one online Bible institute, and a creative online missionary training school with students from seven countries.
In the past, Charis Argentina sent its own missionaries and church planters to Chad, Mexico, Uruguay, and Chile, as well as to many nearby towns. Could God be preparing a new wave of workers to send into His harvest fields?
